Groups & Classes

Groups and classes are geared toward men and women seeking help in the face of some very difficult situations. Clients are immersed in Christian community, led by staff, and supported by caring community volunteers. With topics ranging from addiction recovery, physical wellness, and Christianity to career skills, parenting, and personal finances, we’re confident our clients will leave feeling educated and empowered.

  • Addiction Recovery Group

These ongoing, weekly small groups are ideal if you’re looking for a safe place to experience Christ-centered transformation of your deepest struggles. Together, we work through a book called Grace-Based Recovery, to help you break the chains of addictions that lead to emptiness, destruction, and death.

Next group starts Nov. 7, 2018!

  • Restorative Arts Class

This 5-week class is open to anyone in the community who’s interested in using visual arts to explore God’s redemptive work in their life. No artistic background or supplies are needed.

Next class starts Jan. 8, 2019!

  • Parenting Class

This 13-week class is ideal if you’re actively raising kids up to age 18. Together, we work through a curriculum called Raising Highly Capable Kids that will give you the insight and tools you need to raise kids who are healthy, caring, and responsible.

Next class starts Jan. 28, 2019!

  • Job Readiness Class

This small, interactive class meets for four hours a week over eight weeks. Together, we work through a curriculum called Jobs for Life that will help you become employable for the rest of your life. You will complete a vocational plan, create a professional résumé, be prepared in job interviews, build a network, and learn God’s plan for your life.

    Next class starts Feb. 2019!
